Toilet Matters

Why did I broach this subject ? Toilets may be difficult to find in Europe.

Here are some broad guidelines for finding toilets : 

1. Shopping Centres.
2. Petrol Stations.
3. Supermarkets.
4. Public toilets.
5. Cafés or restaurants.

• In Germany, Belgium and Switzerland, you have to pay per person for the use of toilets.
• In petrol stations or some areas, the machine issues you a ticket, 0.50€ or 0.70€. Use this ticket to offset your purchases at the petrol station or café.
• In France, toilets are FOC everywhere and present in big supermarkets in outlying areas.
